Join us the First and Third Sundays of every month for Practice and Potluck from 4PM to 7PM. This time is to celebrate embodiment and mindfulness in a variety of practices that reflect the gifts and skills of those who feel called to lead on any given Sunday. The following are a few of the practices that you might encounter at Sundaze.
InterPlay is easy, fun, and life changing. It is based in a series of incremental “forms” that lead participants to movement and stories, silence and song, ease and amusement. In the process, we discover the wisdom in ourselves and our communities.
InterPlay integrates body, mind, heart and spirit. Life has become so fragmented. InterPlay helps to pull everything back together so we get more of what we want. It is devoted to fun and teaches the language and ethic of play in a deep and powerful way.
Interplay is also a great practice for those with limited mobility as there are no "rules" and the play is to foster joy in whatever body you have now!
Kundalini yoga is designed to awaken the energy of consciousness, to practice in a way that sheds light on our self-imposed limitations, and invites us to think out of the box and develop our intuitive mind.
The kriyas or exercises work on strengthening your nervous system, balancing your glandular system, purifying the body and calming the mind.
These exercises generate energy, organize that energy and deliver you to a specific energetic state — particularly one of greater awareness.
Whether sitting in a chair or on the floor, nearly everyone can participate in a kundalini practice.
As part of our commitment to embodiment and mindfulness we believe sharing from our abundance is a gift that we can offer each other each week. Since many of us have different food restriction we most often share the most delicious vegan and gluten free meals you might ever find! However, meat pies and blueberry buckle are known to show up as well! The gift is in the sharing.
